green ice cream

My kids saw a demonstration of Spinac Ice Cream at Costco and are begging me to make it.  I was hoping it would be in the recipe book.  Does anyone have a recipe kids would like?

    Just went to the website after posting the comment to make sure the video is still there......after going to vitamixlady.com, click on the "videos" tab to the left, then the video for "green icecream" appears with a second video of her kids enjoying eating it.

    A vita-mix demonstrator has a web site www.vitamixlady.com which has a detailed video demo of "green ice cream".  I haven't tried it yet because we do alot of green smoothies instead, but I'm sure its good.

  • I make green ice cream , but mine is for diabetics . I would alter the mix for your kids . 


    Use Spinach, Frozen Peaches , Vanilla , Stevia, Almond Milk. 


    Cup or so of Spinach, 


    Same with Peaches. 


    Cup of almond milk 


    I use powdered Vanilla . but liquid will work. 


    A little lemon juice  half a shot . 


    It turns out nice and green and no taste of Spinach.
