Hello!  I have wanted a Vita-Mix since I saw one demonstrated at a La Leche League conference over 30 years ago.  This year for my birthday, my husband suprised me with the Vita-Mix 5200 Deluxe!  I could not wait until my VM came.  When I came home from work and saw it sitting on my front porch, I was giddy with excitement.

Having made everything in the Getting Started Booklet as recommended by Vita-Mix powers that be, I now am experimenting with some of my recipes and have been pleased with the results.  My husband says that he is the happy recipient of all my efforts with the Vita-Mix.  He thinks this is the best gift he gave me! 

We have a certified organic farm in Wisconsin that my husband (retired from his Illinois job) runs from April to December.  I have officially retired (12-31-09).  So we are now getting our Illinois home ready to put on the market.  We will be installing a commercial kitchen in our house in Wisconsin where I will be baking breads and making different "created items" using 100% organic ingredients to sell at our local farmer's market.

Since early in our marriage I have been dedicated to organic whole foods and the Vita-Mix easily steps in to complement my efforts.  The fresh whole grain flours I have made make the most delicious bread.  Now the Vita-Mix adds more depth to our vegetarian diet by adding more fiber and nutrition to the same foods we have been eating all along.  Thank you Vita-Mix!!!
