I just got my Vita-Mix last week and finally got a chance to go thru my other kitchen appliances to see which ones I don't need anymore. I GOT RID OF 5 KITCHEN APPLIANCES! I am amazed what we can do with this wonderful machine. I have already made a great tasting soup, many many smoothies, ice cream, juices, and I have even ground meat for meatloaf. The clean up is the easiest of all. I don't have a dishwasher and hate to wash dishes, so the quick clean up is the BEST!
This is my old garden. These redwood boxes lasted me about 15 years. In late 2008 I hate to have them torn out as they were falling apart. I am replacing them with 2x2x4-foot metal stock water tanks. I will post a photo of this new garden when I have it setup. This photo was taken about 3 years after putting the boxes in.

Broken drive socket
Only owned my Vita Mix for a month and a half. This morning the drive socket split :( I'm surprised it broke! Also surprised that it broke so soon.
