    First, what type of foods do you eat? For instance, if you are consuming dairy while you're having a cold, you may be adding to the amount of mucus your holding on to .

    Same goes for cutting way back on sugar and breads for a bit while your body is fighting the bug.

    Hi!

    Just wanted to say that I ordered the small tamper for my smaller Vita-Mix container.  I really love it.  I had used the original tamper that is graduated to only go into the smaller container the specific difference.  I found it a little awkward.  The smaller tamper is much more comfortable to use in the smaller container.  It was a great addition to my VM accessories. 

    I think another great accessory would be a small cup adapted from the removable part

    I bought a 3600n (I think) a few months ago for $100 on Craigslist. I was thrilled because it had no plastic--I didn't realize it was so old.  It works, but not the way a new one does.  Its slower, I think.  I imagine the gears are a little worn. (right now I'm remodeling my kitchen and can't find it).  Does anyone have an opinion whether I should trade it in for a reconditioned one, or do something else with it, or its parts?

    Well I haven't had anything stain my canister but maybe try hot water with distilled Vinager and let it soak over night.

    Leave some liquid in there the next morning, add ice and baking soda. Turn it on so the ice and baking soda acts like a scrub brush on the inside of the canister.
